Daniel Arsham Breaks Into The Fashion World With His Own Unisex Label
By Alexa Heah, 23 Jun 2022

Famed artist Daniel Arsham is no stranger to the world of fashion, having collaborated with the likes of Tiffany & Co, Dior, Adidas Originals, and more.
Thus, it isn’t much of a surprise he’s decided to carve out a niche of his own, with the launch of the inaugural collection of new label Objects IV Life, a joint project with Stefano Martinetto of London-based brand accelerator Tomorrow.

On its official website, the brand describes itself as “part-laboratory, part-atelier,” and that it “seeks to radically reimagine the way that we get dressed.”
“Combining deep research with conceptual thinking, the brand creates a new paradigm for personal style. With an ethos of radical optimism, at its core, Objects IV Life believes that the clothes we wear each day harness the possibility of a better tomorrow,” it states.

According to GQ, the pioneering capsule comprises minimalist unisex outerwear, denim, and accessories—including a pair of peculiar steel-toed work boots. The brand has set up shop at Kith’s Paris flagship store for its debut.
As per Business of Fashion, Arsham is reportedly colorblind, which could explain his choice of hues for the collection, filled with cool neutrals and pale greens, pinks, and blues.

“Designed between New York City and London, all garments are made in Portugal and Los Angeles with custom hardware coming from Italy,” the designer wrote on Instagram.
“For the denim and holdall bag, we used a technical innovation to transform dead-stock materials from the past into objects of the future. It’s a very personal project. These are the clothes I feel most comfortable in. I can’t wait to see it out in the world,” he continued.

Prices for the collection range from US$60 for a keychain to US$950 for a denim jacket. Check it out here.
