Pokeprincxss, who now goes by Digitalprincxss, is known for her TikTok clips as well as her adult content on the subscription-only website OnlyFans. She has recently uploaded a video claiming that Nintendo has sued her for several reasons related to its branding.
According to Gamerant, the online creator received a cease-and-desist letter from Nintendo, stating that her Pokémon-related username and merchandise featuring Pokémon characters were infringing on their copyrights.
In the video, Digitalprincxss expressed her side about the situation and felt that Nintendo did not want to be affiliated to her because she is “an adult entertainer.”
“Nintendo is a family-friendly company, so they don’t want that to…ruin their reputation or anything, if people think that [both of us] are affiliated,” she said in the video.
At the end, Digitalprincxss had to change her online handle and return the company her earnings from any merchandise sold that has been emblazoned with Nintendo’s branding.
