If you hear eerie “alien” sounds in the next Halo game, do not be daunted as they might just come from the voice box of a little pug named Gyoza.
343 Industries studio has engaged the pupper to be one of its voice actors for the upcoming Halo Infinite video game.
As the best friend of the company’s technical art director, Gyoza is offering his voice to be soundtracked into the sixth edition of the video game series.
The post on Halo’s Instagram reads, “Meet our favorite pug, Gyoza,” showcasing the good boy hustling at work during a recording session.
“His grunts, breaths, and excitement are sure to make for some… interesting sounds in #HaloInfinite,” the post continues.
Fans are wondering if Gyoza’s sound effects are for various alien species in the series.
For the most part, they are just in awe at Gyoza’s cuteness and the adorable sounds he makes.
One comment highlights the pug’s crucial role in the making of the game by stating, “If I don’t see [Gyoza’s] name in the credits I’ma be heated,” while another gives hats off to the production team for the “next level sound design.”
An official release date for Halo Infinite has not been determined, but it is expected to be released in 2020, according to Gameradar.
