Keanu Reeves has been revered as “respectful” by social media users after they observed a lovely trait about the actor.
Fans pointed out that the John Wick star tends to keep his hands off women’s backs when photographed with them. He either keeps a distance or lets his hands hover mid-air when near their waists.
A collage of photos compiled by Twitter user @KemziLinzi, where Reeves is pictured with Dolly Parton and some female fans, shows he is “taking no chances.” Of course, the post has gone viral, with one social media user remarking at how Reeves is such a “respectful king.”
Others perceived his stance as a smart way to prevent lawsuits from knocking on his door in the ‘#MeToo’ era.
In spite of his intent to stay out of fans’ privacy bubbles, one Twitter user joked that Reeves would nevertheless possess the power to “make you feel hugged without having to touch you.”

It’s not about not taking chances, it’s about being considerate and respectful, qualities that Keanu carries in spades. https://t.co/AGuLmsnVWb— peachshim 🍓🍑 (@peachshim) June 10, 2019
He’s respectful. This should be how it’s done unless ya know the woman doesn’t mind being touched. Keanu should inspire us all https://t.co/bwDihtUZYk— ✭ I am Chris ✭ (@chalkXoutline) June 10, 2019
Just a thought... perhaps Keanu recognized that not one of these women gave him their consent to touch him and I don’t know, he respected their bodily autonomy. Keanu showing everyone how to be respectful might be a potential takeaway as well. This is just a thought though.— Dave- kindness costs nothing (@strikeoutss) June 10, 2019
