Heineken’s Alcohol-Free Beer Lands In The US So You Can Drink At Work And More
By Yoon Sann Wong, 11 Jan 2019
Alcohol-free Heineken 0.0, which is already available in some parts of the word, has landed in the US.
The beverage that packs just 69 calories per bottle was made to keep pace with “holistic wellbeing and mindful drinking on the rise,” explains the company inside a press release.
This shift in consumer behavior also inspired Heineken’s new global campaign platform titled ‘#NowYouCan’. It will kick off with the commercial ‘Now You Can: Presentation’, showcasing the freedom that Heineken 0.0 gives you to drink on the job, worry-free. Other spots centering on the themes ‘Backstage’, ‘Parking’, and ‘Gas Station’ will also be aired.
“Heineken 0.0 brings an incredible beer taste to the non-alcoholic space and opens a world of opportunity for people to come together and enjoy a brew that expands drinking occasions—not limits them,” commented Jonnie Cahill, Chief Marketing Officer, Heineken USA.
Willem van Waesberghe, Global Craft and Brew Master at Heineken, added, “Heineken 0.0 is brewed from scratch and has a perfectly balanced taste with refreshing fruity notes and soft, malty finish.”
