‘World’s First Consensual Sex Robot Brothel’ Plans To Spread Its Legs In 2019
By Izza Sofia, 18 Nov 2018
With the recent developments of coitus with sex robots, there has always been concerns with regards to the aspect of “consensual sex” when it comes to intercourse with them.
A company in the United States is attempting to alleviate this very concern with the conception of a ‘world’s first consensual sex robot brothel’. The Eve’s Robot Dreams Brothel, which is the designated name for the establishment, is currently going through crowdfunding via Indiegogo and has been slated to open in California in 2019.
Unicole Unicorn, a robot ethicist and also the founder, intends to establish a society where robots are treated with the respect they deserve. This is to avoid a possible android revolt or rebellion in the future.
In the interest of maintaining this ethical relationship, visitors will be required to get to know their robots before engaging in sex, either through an app called the Realbotix or at the brothel itself.
Onsite flirtation will occur beforehand at the brothel’s own cafe and upon establishment of a relationship, things revert to the typical nature of prostitution, with a private session costing US$122 for bionic sex or US$10,000 to be the robot’s first customer.
Non-reactive dolls are also available for US$60. There are still concerns about the consensual aspect, especially the “virginity” option-which Twitter users claimed is just a tad too “creepy”.
Nevertheless, the official stance is more concerned with hygiene and sanitation and guests can also purchase their own vaginal or anal insert to privatize their own experience during the penetration phase.
With regards to the types of robots available, guests will be able to find options which represent the current male-centric desires of our world today. Currently, the campaign already has almost US$3,000 from nine backers, just one percent of their US$155,000 goal.
