Marvel Fan Decodes ‘Avengers 4’ Title Leaked By Ruffalo On Jimmy Fallon’s Show
By Izza Sofia, 09 Oct 2018
Mark Ruffalo, who played ‘The Incredible Hulk’, recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where the actor divulged some major spoilers pertaining to the upcoming Avengers 4 film.
In what appeared to be a rehearsed stunt, Ruffalo shared Avengers 4’s official title and details about an entire scene involving ‘Hulk’, which The Tonight Show strategically censored out.
Despite the information blackout, one Marvel fan has gone the extra mile to see if Ruffalo had actually blurted out the upcoming film’s title while on set. Using a series of audio filters, Twitter user Anton Volkov has managed to remove the censors to reveal what could be the official movie title of Avengers 4.
He took to Twitter to post the unfiltered clip with the caption, “This might not actually be the real #Avengers4 title BUT: put the audio from the Fallon/Ruffalo interview into Audition and tried removing the bleep using the spectrogram editor. THE LAST AVENGER is what was said.”
Though this is just a possibility, The Last Avenger makes sense as it references the series’ initial Captain America: The First Avenger movie.
This further fuels the rumor that ‘Captain America’ might not survive this final film. Actor Chris Evans, who plays the superhero, bid goodbye to the character not long ago, after the movie wrapped up filming, and left his fans in tears.
Avengers 4 is slated to hit cinemas on 3 May 2019.
