Japan is a whole world on its own that doesn’t require any movie magic for the wondrous to happen. You might have witnessed its prowess through this video of a chef who could routinely dip his hand in boiling oil as if it were cool water.
The next stunt to take Japanese social media users by storm comes from a duo of martial artists who seemed to have mastered the art of Photoshopping without actual Photoshop.
Twitter user Shinya Nomura wanted to dedicate a farewell photo to his fellow martial artist friend, who was relocating to another island.
The snapshot saw his friend being suspended upside-down in the air. It couldn’t have been real, could it?
While followers thought the image was digitally altered, Nomura assured, “It’s not Photoshop. I swear.”
He later uploaded slow-mo footage that showed his friend performing a cartwheel before hoisting and flipping himself in mid-air. All in a day’s work.
Don’t mind the rest of the world—they’ll just stick with the good ol’ flip tool.
