Aside from PlayStation-inspired revamps, Nike’s ‘Air Force 1’ is getting a facelift with a fresh calligraphic logomark.
According to Japanese sneaker news site Sneaker Lab, Nike will be launching two ‘Air Force 1 Low’ colorways with brand new Nike Sportswear logos.
Images uploaded on the site show chenille borne on the heels of the yet-to-be-released Nike ‘Air Force 1 ’07 SE’ with the initials, “NSW”—short for “Nike Sportswear”—embroidered over them. The lettermark makes its appearance again in the insoles of the silhouette.
The sneaker comes in two versions: one in satin, and the other in leather. The satin variety is almost fully washed in a bold red, whereas its leather counterpart takes on an understated white hue.
The ‘Air Force 1 ’07 SE’ is poised to arrive in July 2018. How are you liking the new script typeface?
