If you’ve always been interested in picking up web or app design but haven’t had the resources, Adobe XD’s latest offering might be the perfect fit for you.
Along with a US$10 million investment fund to spur innovation in the UX design industry, Adobe has announced a free ‘Starter Plan’ for Adobe XD CC, which enables anyone to design, prototype and share user experiences with their collaborators across various platforms.
Compatible with Mac, Windows, iOS and Android, the complementary service includes full access to Adobe XD, Creative Cloud libraries, and 2GB of cloud storage.
You’ll also receive a free version of ‘Typekit’—which allows you to choose from over 280 fonts for syncing—as well as up to one active shared design spec and one active shared prototype. You can compare the offerings of the ‘Starter Plan’ with the full-fledged apps here.
The ‘Starter Plan’ is available to anyone with an Adobe ID, Enterprise ID, or Federated ID, and ready for download.
